Vulcano C-Plus Concrete Screed Heater – Mobile Heating Central

This innovative screed heater, protected by a registered patent, stands out from traditional electric heat exchangers due to its highly reliable and efficient resistor protection system. With a heat exchange efficiency of up to 98% (10 kW absorbed -> 9.8 kW delivered), it far exceeds conventional machines, which typically offer around 80% efficiency. No water presence sensors or water heater resistances are required.

The mobile heating unit has been rigorously tested, with the following results:

• Over 40,000 ignitions, tracked by PLC
• Simulations of dry start-ups and air bubble passages
• Sudden start-ups, as frequent as 2 per second
• Operating temperatures reaching up to 300°C

For added convenience, the unit includes an SD Card slot for storing test data, compliant with UNI 1264/4 requirements, with an SD Card included. A USB socket is also available on the control panel for fast and free updates via the download area.

The control panel features a modern, full-color graphic display that provides all essential information, along with a backlit keyboard, ideal for low-light or construction site environments.

Equipped with a new 32-bit ARM processor, the heater ensures accurate and reliable testing. The DELTA work cycle allows for automatic daily temperature increases, as specified by MAPEI. Test data is automatically saved, and all parameters are recorded, regardless of the test in progress. Additionally, the unit optimizes energy consumption during heating cycles.

The Vulcano C-Plus is also equipped with an expansion tank that can be directly connected to the circuit without the need for additional components. It includes an auxiliary socket with a quick coupling system for easy loading and emptying of the system.

System connections are designed to swivel, ensuring a safer and tidier work area.
